The Greek Club

About The Greek Club

The early 1920s saw the flourishing of the Greek community within the suburbs of West End and South Brisbane. In 1944, The Greek Community of St George was founded, followed by the Greek Orthodox Church in 1960. Fifteen years later, The Greek Club was built and finally opened its doors to the public in 1975.

Since then, The Greek Club has prospered into an outstanding restaurant and function centre with 40 years experience in hospitality and events.

Governed by a board of directors and run by a team of hospitality experts, The Greek Club is a non-for-profit membership based organisation.

Located directly opposite Musgrave Park, The Greek Club has become a delightful setting for everyone from all walks of life.

You don’t have to be Greek to join our family!
