TAHSC The Australian Hellenic Sports Centre

The Australian Hellenic Sports Centre (TAHSC)

Jointly established by the Queensland Government and The Greek Orthodox Community of St George, The Australian Hellenic Sports Centre (TAHSC) has been designed to provide the local community with a facility that will enable greater participation to a number of sports that are currently played at the Goodwin Park fields.

With the major tenant being Brisbane Olympic United Soccer Club, the club now has an established club house from which its members can enjoy the benefits of a home ground that provides members and guests with the comfort of a covered grandstand, a newly built ground lighting, canteen access and a licensed bar from which they can use during home fixtures.

With in excess of 500 registered players the club can provide access to teams ranging from U7 right through to the senior ranks in the newly established Queensland State League. The club has also in its ranks several girls teams that are providing opportunities for more participants top enjoy the world game. Along with being a home venue, TAHSC also operates as a commercial function centre available for hire 7 days a week year round catering for a large variety of public and private bookings.

With an excellent commercial kitchen located within the centre the venue can provide an excellent catering opportunity for those wishing to either use our in-house caterer or if suited provide their own caterer or catering.
